Internal Advisory Centers

Equality, Diversity, Inclusion Department

The Department of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI) implements the constitutional and legal mandate for equal opportunities and the integration of people with disabilities at the UZH. It provides relevant services to all members of UZH (e.g. counselling) and implements university-wide measures against discrimination. The EDI works on behalf of the Executive Board of the University and manages the business of the Commission for Inclusion.

Student and Disability Office

The Disability Office (FSB) offers advice and support to students with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses on how to organize their studies in a way that ensures equal opportunities. It is the point of contact for students who wish to apply for compensation for disadvantages and assesses on an individual basis whether and to what extent compensation for disadvantages may be necessary. The FSB also provides other services to promote inclusive study conditions.
